How are our preparedness kits different?
First, we designed these preparedness kits with the end user in mind. We segment our preparedness kits based on who will use the items and how they will be used. You don't pay for extraneous items like radios and first aid kits or matches that find their way into a child's hands. The items in this preparedness kit provide immediate protection in the event you happen to be in the vicinity of an explosion. Primary requirements for this event are oxygen and visibility. You need to have clean air and to see the way to an exit. The mask will filter the choking dust (but will not filter smoke or toxic gasses) caused by a blast. The goggles will protect your vision and the light will allow you to find the exit. The carry bag contains these preparedness items and fits in a computer bag, brief case, or can be worn on the belt. When you receive the goggles, fit them to your head so they will be ready to wear if you need them. Try on the mask, too. Squeeze the trigger light to familiarize yourself with its operation.
